It is indeed an acknowledged fact that women have made great strides in all fields, matching and even surpassing men in many areas. What this book attempts to do is to provide them with finer nuances for empowering themselves more, so they know how to wield power and stand shoulder-to-shoulder with men. The author emphasizes the need for women to abandon all the wrongful, traditional, womanly traits and behavior that keep them from evolving into their potential best.

Solovic brings out the contrasting styles between men and women and how women wreck their chances due to their weakness and lack of adequate confidence. She illustrates by using examples and employs quotes to bring home the point that right behavior and attitudes are the keys for being recognized as a leader. She stresses on the need for women to assert themselves in the right way, break free from old-held expectations and challenge traditional workplace inequities.

She also underlines the importance of making forceful communication, adopting the right tone and tenor, and developing an appropriate overall style that best reflects the image that one would like to project and be identified with. The book also makes a strong statement on working out a blended image that combines the best elements of feminine attributes with the assertive and forceful communication style of men in order to ensure greater leverage and effect.

As more and more women take charge of their life and career, the need to stop remaining on the sidelines and move centre stage to leadership, power and influence is indeed the next step in the process of their evolvement. This book is no doubt a step in that direction.

Needless to say, business professionals, entrepreneurs, in fact all aspiring women will find this book useful for reinventing their image more strongly. Even men can have a peek into this book so they will be able to recognize such women when they come across, and play an encouraging and useful role.
